Stolen truck leads police on car chase

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs Police chased a truck early Monday morning that was discovered to be stolen from Pueblo.

An officer was patrolling in the area of Wahsatch Ave. and Kiowa St. and tried to pull over a suspicious truck for a traffic violation. A short car chase started after the truck didn't pull over.

The passenger was detained, then released without charges.

Shortly after, another officer saw the suspect truck in the area of Alexander Rd. and Monument St. When the officer lost sight of the truck, the suspect parked the truck and ran away. Police searched the area, but did not find the suspect.
