String of child enticements prompts warning from police

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Police Department is looking for two men and a white van linked to a series of child enticements since June.

Police say that in most of the cases, the van slowly followed the children for a period of time before one or both of the men jumped out and started chasing them.

Suspect descriptions
Two men
Ages 30 to 40
One of the men may have a colored tattoo on his right forearm and a tattoo shaped like a gun on his outer right calf.

The van is usually described as a full size white van with tinted windows. It may not have side windows. It was described as being "full size similar to a panel van except it had dark tinted windows on both sides of the back", police said.

Others described the vehicle as a white box moving type truck and also as a white work van with ladder racks but no ladders.
