Three Colorado Springs SVP's move to new addresses

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The Colorado Springs Police Department says three sexually violent predators who live in the city have moved.

By law, the police department is required to notify the community whenever an SVP moves to a new location.


Daniel Murphy is registered as homeless in the area of Rio Grande Street and Wahsatch Street.

Murphy was convicted of first degree sex abuse in Suffolk County, NY in 2000.

Murphy also has convictions for harassment, forcible touching, and failure to register as a sex offender in Colorado and New York.


Police say Jimmie Lillie recently registered at an apartment in the 3000 block of E. Platte Ave.

Lillie was convicted of sexual assault on a child in El Paso County in 2005.

Lillie also has convictions for assault, theft, selling and possessing drugs, violating a restraining order and resisting arrest.


Jerrell Evans is registered at an apartment in the 3000 block of E. Platte Ave.

Evans was convicted of second degree attempted sexual assault in El Paso County in 2001.

He also has convictions for menacing and escape as well as a drug-related conviction.
