Truck Crashes into Home in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police are looking for a driver who crashed a Ford F-150 into a home early Friday morning.

It happened shortly after 1 a.m. at a home on Vista Place.

Police said it all started when the driver of the truck sped into a parking lot at the Stratton Open Space area. When police attempted to pull the driver over, he refused to stop.

Police soon caught up with the truck after it slammed into the home but the driver was already gone. He ran away on foot.

The homeowner, 88-year-old Col. Robert Taylor, wasn't injured but his home suffered extensive damage.

Police are looking for the driver.
