It happened in the 2000 block of Monterey Road. The fire was reported at 12:12 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2013.

All 13 people who lived in the home were there when the fire started. Everyone made it out. Two dogs and one cat were rescued.

Four people were taken to the hospital for treatment of what firefighters called "minor health complaints."

Eleven of the displaced people found a place to stay with help from the Red Cross.

The fire started on the back porch, but the cause is still under investigation.
