Woman slashed, robbed in Pueblo hospital parking lot

PUEBLO, Colo. - Police are looking for a man who attacked and robbed a woman outside of St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center.

The attack happened on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at 8:10 p.m.

Police say a woman was getting into her car near the Mammography doors at St. Mary-Corwin when a man walked up to her and grabbed her purse.

The victim told police that when she tried to fight the robber, he yelled "I'm going to kill you!, I'm going to kill you!" and slashed her face with a sharp object, possibly a knife.

Police say the attacker is in his late teens or early twenties, about 5'3" tall and weighing 120 to 130 pounds. He may have had a light mustache and goatee and was wearing dark blue jeans, an over-sized black coat with a hood and a tan or gray ball cap with a black emblem.
