Woman shot through the door of Pueblo West home

Pueblo County Sheriff's Office has 1 person of interest in custody.

PUEBLO WEST, Colo. - The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office has two people of interest in custody and are seeking two others after a shooting at a home in Pueblo West around 2 a.m. Sunday.

The Sheriff's Offfice said a 34-year-old women was shot several times through the front door of her home on Morning Glory Drive.

She was taken to the hospital for surgery and there has been no update on her condition.

Early Sunday, investigators were trying to track down Anthony Scott, 25, for questioning.

"Right now Mr. Scott is someone we very much need to talk to," said the Sheriff's Office in a statement. "He knows this family and the man we contacted after the shooting.  If anyone knows where he is, we'd ask that you call us."

It's not clear at this point if Scott has been interviewed by the Sheriff's Office or is still being sought.
