COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Young and old, Broncos mania is sweeping the state. KRDO Newschannel 13 found two special fans, generations apart.
Two fans, one goal: beat the New England Patriots and win the Superbowl. If you haven't caught the Broncos fever yet, perhaps these two can help you.
Jaevein Berry is no ordinary Broncos fan.
"This is the third year in a row that the Broncos have faced the Patriots in the playoffs," said Berry.
At seven-years-old, he may surprise you. He spit out a handful of players names and numbers. He said he loves to tell people statistics. Jaevein eats, sleeps and breathes Denver Broncos football. He has a Broncos pillow shaped like a football.
"Peyton Manning has broken Tom Brady's record in single season touchdowns," said Berry.
No matter how young or how old, Denver Broncos fans have faith in their team.
"I love it. I watch every game," said 91-year-old Millie Russell. "When the family all gets together, then we're all hollering and clapping," she said.
Millie grew up in New England cheering for the Patriots, but she moved to Colorado 15 years ago.
"When I came, I was never too much into football, but all the family was into football," said Russell.
She has Broncos socks, shirts and earrings. Obviously, her family easily turned her into a Broncos fan.
Both Jaevein and Millie have February birthday. Maybe that is a good luck sign for the Broncos.
