Man uses ceramic bowl as weapon during Colorado Springs hotel robbery

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police say they're looking for two people who robbed a north Colorado Springs hotel in mid-February, and one of the men assaulted a victim by shattering a ceramic bowl on their head.

CSPD released a picture of one of the suspects Monday and is asking for help identifying him. Police say he was one of two people who robbed a Days Inn at 8350 Razorback Road on Feb. 16.

Police say the pictured suspect also picked up a large ceramic bowl from the counter and hit a victim on the side of the head, causing a significant injury. Police wouldn't tell us if the victim was a hotel employee or a bystander.

We asked CSPD for information on what was taken during the robbery, but the department won't provide any other information.

If you have any information about the suspects, call police at 719-444-7000 or 719-634-7867.
