U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. - Cadets at the Air Force Academy got to listen to a very special guest on Tuesday.
Osi Sladek, a Holocaust survivor, spoke to cadets about his experience as a victim of the Holocaust and related it to stopping genocide today.
"We have to work real hard at, work hard to better the world and make sure that people are aware of what happened in the past. That's basically my mission," said Sladek.
Sladek says it's important to not only remember the past but learn from it as well.
He also wants to remind young people there is no guarantee something like the Holocaust couldn't happen again.
