'TERROR-fying' Army re-enlistment ceremony on Cave of the Winds TERROR-Dactyl ride

WATCH: TERROR-fying Army...

MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo. - A couple of Fort Carson soldiers found a wild way to re-up.

On Friday, Cave of the Winds shared video of the soldiers re-enlisting in the Army on the attraction's Terror-Dactyl ride.

William Laybourne and Derek Rettig are assigned to the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade, 4th Infantry Division.

The video starts with the pair being sworn in for another tour of duty -- then the operator pushes the button to activate the ride.

Both men were visibly anxious in the moments before they plunged 150 feet into a canyon from the top of a 200-foot ledge.

The Cave of the Winds website says the ride reaches speeds of 100 mph.

Laybourne and Rettig seemed to enjoy the ride once they realized they weren't going to die.
