Mitchell H.S. lock down lifted

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A precautionary lock down at Mitchell High School has been lifted. D-11 says everyone is safe.

District officials cited suspicious activity near the school for the lock down on the morning of Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Specific details about what prompted the lock down have not been released.

Mitchell is located at 1205 Potter Drive, near Academy Boulevard and Galley Road.
