Morning News Anchor KRDO-TV, Colorado Springs, Co.

If Colorado sounds like a place you want to work, here's your chance.

KRDO-TV, the ABC Affiliate in Colorado Springs is the winner of the past 2 Regional Murrow Awards for Overall Excellence.   We are seeking an aggressive, highly motivated and skilled Morning News Anchor   to join our award-winning news staff.

Do you exude energy, enthusiasm and creativity?  Read on, because that's what we're looking for in our next morning news co-anchor. It's serious work.  It's hard work. You don't have to be a scientist but chemistry with our current male anchor is important.  We're looking for someone who is warm and engaging.

The morning anchor will be responsible for preparing and delivering accurate newscasts.  Get it right every time, because our credibility is on the line. You love a rundown of stories.  At the same time you understand news changes by the minute - and sometimes faster.

You will also need to develop, gather and produce compelling news content for multiple platforms. You already have a huge Twitter following and your Facebook fan loyalty is through the roof. You will report live on location at various news events. You have a solid background in field reporting/field anchoring.

We believe in people who like to work hard and also play hard.   Colorado Springs sits at the base of Pikes Peak, America's mountain.  World Class skiing, hiking and mountain biking are at your doorstep.

If you have a College Degree, at least 3 years experience Anchoring, and you want to join one of the best news organizations in the country, send resume including references and non-returnable DVD or link of work along with a cover letter stating where you found out about this job to:
