COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -

A turning truck wiped out two motorcycles Sunday morning, sending four people to the hospital.

The wreck happened around 9:45 a.m. at Platte Avenue and Wooten Road on Colorado Springs' east side.

Each motorcycle had two people aboard.

The truck was hauling a trailer when it made a left at the intersection. Police said the driver did not give the bike riders enough time to cross through the intersection before turning.

One bike hit the trailer while the other was laid down.

Police called all the injuries serious.

No traffic tickets or arrests were reported by police.
