Oskar Blues Brewery stops production to send cans of water to Houston

LONGMONT, Colo. - A brewery in Colorado is stopping its production of beer to send cans of water to Houston. 

Oskar Blues Brewery in Longmont is halting beer production for 20 hours, according to our partners at Denver7

This will give the company time to fill 88,000 cans of water to send to Hurricane Harvey victims.

The cans have been donated by Colorado-based Ball Corporation.

A representative for Oskar Blues has said that the cans will arrive in Houston by the end of this week.

Oskar Blues sending water to Texas. Anheuser-Busch reportedly sent more than 100,000 cans and MillerCoors shipped 50,000 cans.
