Flight turns around after naked man locks himself in bathroom

Man hasn't been identified

A passenger on an Alaska Airlines plane heading to Seattle caused the plane to turn back to Anchorage after he locked himself in the bathroom, stripped naked and refused to comply with the flight attendants' instructions.

The Associated Press reports the man, who has not been identified, was met by airport police and the FBI when the plane landed around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

"There was a subject on the aircraft that had barricaded or locked himself in the bathroom, the lavatory," airport police Sgt. Darcy Perry told local station KTVA. "Flight attendants did find that the subject was naked," Perry added.

It wasn't clear if the man was arrested, and the FBI did not return class to the AP.
