Pair sentenced for robbery, accessory to committ murder
Two men have been sentenced to 31 years in prison after being linked to a March 2013 murder.
Ryan Dickerson and Swayde Jones were both sentenced to 28 years in prison for armed robbery and three years in prison for accessory to commit first degree murder. The sentences will be served consecutively.
The victim, James Klinger, was found dead in the Clarion Hotel, 314 W. Bijou Street, Colorado Springs, on March 15, 2013.
Dickerson is from Montrose and Jones is from Delta.
The Colorado Springs Gazette reported on December 13, 2013 that a third man, Michael Brown of Delta, was sentenced to 65 years in prison in connection to the murder. The newspaper reported that Brown admitted to killing Klinger as part of a plea deal.
