SECURITY-WIDEFIELD, Colo. -

The El Paso County Sheriff's Office says a person of interest in a Pueblo homicide case rammed one of its unmarked vehicles before being arrested Friday (4/25/14).

The sheriff's office says it sent its SWAT team to the 4700 block of Cassidy Street shortly after 2:30 p.m. at the request of the Pueblo Police Department.

Lt. Jeff Kramer with the El Paso County Sheriff's Office says the man who they were looking for eventually came out of a house and got into a vehicle along with another man and two children.

Kramer says the SWAT team stopped the vehicle just before 5:30 p.m. and that's when one of the sheriff's office's unmarked vehicles was rammed. No one was hurt.

The man who the SWAT team was looking for was arrested. Some other people at the house were questioned and then released.

Kramer says the man will be booked into the El Paso County Criminal Justice Center.

The Pueblo Police Department tells KRDO NewsChannel 13 that the person who was arrested was wanted as a person of interest in connection to a deadly shooting that happened on April 8, 2014 in the 2100 block of Cedar Street.

Tarra-Wilhite Moore was arrested in connection to the shooting on the day it happened.

It's unclear how the person of interest who was arrested on April 25 is linked to the case.
