POLICE: Man Fires Shots Into Pueblo Home

PUEBLO, Colo. - Pueblo police are searching for a man they say knocked down a neighbors door and fired gunshots into the home.

Officials said it happened around 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon on the 1200 block of Eilers Street.

A family was inside the home at the time, but no one was hurt, according to police officials.

Investigators said they found shell casings inside the home and a little bit of blood, leading them to believe that the suspect hurt himself while breaking down the door.

Police said they have identified the suspect as Jesus Valdez.

Valdez left the scene in a silver or tan PT Cruiser, according to investigators. Valdez is believed to be the passenger.
