Monday is last day for voter registration for municipal election

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Monday is the last day to register to vote for the April 2 Colorado Springs municipal election.

Voters will decide on two ballot questions and choose City Council members to represent the city's six newly-drawn districts. The election will occur by mail ballots, which are expected to be mailed on March 8 to all registered active voters who live in the city limits.

New voters must register no later than March 4. They can register through the Colorado Secretary of State's website or fill out a voter registration form at the websites of the Colorado Springs City Clerk and El Paso County Clerk and Recorder. These forms can be e-mailed to election@springsgov.com.
