PUEBLO, Colo. - Things got heated at a town hall in southern Colorado on Thursday.

Several groups including Veterans for Peace and Colorado Indivisible were on hand to challenge Rep. Scott Tipton.

We asked Rep. Tipton if he minded facing the opposition at town halls.

“You know, when we go into town halls, we don't view it as supporters and opposition, they're all constituents,” said Rep. Tipton.

“He consistently votes for freedom caucus issues, and those are really far right. This is a purple state,” said Jan Butorac, 3rd District constituent.

The congressman spoke for about an hour, taking tough questions on foreign policy, health care, and the environment.
