Pueblo police arrested two men they say shot a man earlier this month.
Police say 32-year-old Cesario Vigil and his brother 29-year-old Claude shot Eugene Roy while the men were in the 100 block of West B Street in Pueblo.
Police responded to a call of shots fired around 1:30 on the morning of December, 7. When they arrived they found Roy with a gunshot wound in his side, but it wasn't until Roy was taken to the hospital and in stable condition before police could get an accurate description of the suspects to be able to make an arrest.
"The original incident happened on December, 7, but it wasn't until Friday after that detectives were able to obtain a warrant; they came down to the police station and they were subsequently arrested," says Pueblo Police Sergeant Eric Gonzalez.
The Vigil Brothers were held on a $100,000 bond.
