27-year-old man dies in rollover crash in Pueblo West

PUEBLO, Colo. - A 27-year-old man has died from injuries sustained in a one-vehicle rollover crash in Pueblo West Friday morning.

The Pueblo County Sheriff's Office hasn't released the man's identity, but say he was driving a 2002 Nissan Maxima on McCulloch Boulevard near Los Mochis Drive around 2:30 a.m. when he drifted off the right side of the road. He then overcorrected, causing the car to slide sideways across the road.

The man was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the car. He was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

Speed, alcohol and drugs are being looked at as possible factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
