PUEBLO, Colo. - The streets of Pueblo will once again hear the sounds of motorcycles for an annual toy collecting tradition.
About a thousand motorcycles will be riding through Pueblo Saturday morning for the 40th Annual Toy Run.
Bikers begin their journey from Pueblo South High School and continue through the city until they arrive at Pueblo East High School.
Toys collected during the event will be distributed to 20 different agencies in Pueblo.
Event organizer Mike Cisneros says it's all about the kids.
"You would hate to hear somebody say that poor kid didn't get a Christmas present, or that family didn't get any that's why we're trying to reach out to them," Cisneros said.
If you're interested in donating, but can't attend the event, there are still ways you can help.
You can drop off your donation at the Post Office at the Midtown Shopping Center in Pueblo or you can make a monetary donation to the Pueblo Bikers United at P.O. Box 1, Pueblo, Colorado, 81002.
