Beloved bartender in Pueblo taken off life support

PUEBLO, Colo. - Family and friends of Stacy Richardson-Cooper are in mourning after she was taken off life support on Thursday.

Stacy was involved in an accident near the intersection of West 13th and Elizabeth in Pueblo on November 11.

Our partners at The Pueblo Chieftain reported that witnesses told Pueblo police that the 34-year-old laid her bike down in an attempt to avoid hitting a truck that was turning left.

Investigators reviewed footage from a camera nearby and determined that the accident was not a hit-and-run.

Stacy had serious head injuries and was taken to the hospital where she died on Thursday.

A candlelight vigil will be held on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at the accident location.

Stacy was a well-known bartender at the 7th Street Station in Pueblo.
