Body found in Arkansas River not suspicious

PUEBLO, Colo. - Authorities do not believe the death of the man who was found in the Arkansas River on Saturday to be suspicious. 

Our news partners at the Chieftain reported that the body was found by a passerby walking along the Pueblo River Trail System near Santa Fe Avenue.

Sgt. Shelly Taylor told the Chieftain that investigators do not expect foul play. 

The victim was living in a half-way house in the area and had been reported missing since early Friday morning, according to the Pueblo Chieftain.
