UPDATE: Body pulled out of Pueblo Reservoir identified as missing fisherman

Missing man's body found in Lake Pueblo

PUEBLO, Colo. - After four months of searching, the body of Frank Montoya was found in the Pueblo Reservoir on Tuesday.

Frank Montoya, 61, along with 57-year-old Kimberlie Temple, disappeared while fishing on Lake Pueblo December 10.

Temple’s body was found on December 14.

A rescue team from Summit County was called in by the Pueblo County Sheriff's Office on Monday to use their submersible sidescan sonar. They found his body around 300 feet west of the dam, according to Colorado Parks and Wildlife.

Both Montoya's body and the boat the pair was in was found 120 feet down.

Temple's brother, Don Temple, said he feels both families can now completely move on.

"You always wonder when and if they would find him," Temple said. "You know wish you knew what happened exactly but we'll never know, other than a tragic accident."

Rescue divers from Colorado Springs Fire Department were then brought in on Tuesday to remove the body. It took several hours to get Montoya due to the depth and altitude of the lake.
