PUEBLO, Colo. - The Christmas Tree Recycling Program officially kicked off in Pueblo on Wednesday.
Real Christmas trees can be dropped off at Vision Aggregate Recycling in Pueblo until January 13, Monday until Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The Recycling Program is sponsored by the Pueblo City-County Health Department, Black Hills Energy and Vision Recycled Aggregate and Landscaping.
The donated trees will be ground up and given back to the community as mulch.
The free mulch can be picked up on Monday, January 16 starting at noon on a first come, first serve basis.
Cash donations are also welcome for drop-off and pick-up periods.
