Deadly crash in Pueblo caused by drag...

PUEBLO, Colo - The Pueblo Police Department says a man was killed Thursday night while drag racing another vehicle. It happened around 11:00 pm, near the intersection of Thatcher Avenue and Scranton Avenue.

Officers say two vehicles were racing westbound on Thatcher, when one of them spun-out and was hit by another vehicle heading eastbound.

The person driving the racing vehicle was killed, the person in the other vehicle that was heading eastbound had minor injuries.

The other vehicle involved in the race left the scene, but police were able to eventually make contact with that driver. The investigation is ongoing, but charges could be pending.

Police have not identified the deceased man, and have not said how old he is.
