Memorial held to honor life of Isaiah Vialpando

PUEBLO, Colo. - A memorial sign now stands in Pueblo to honor the life of Isaiah Vialpando.

His family bought the sign, and with the help of the streets division, it's across the street from the El Pueblo Museum in front of Vectra Bank.

Vialpando was shot and killed there in 2015.

A balloon release was also held in his honor.

Several of his family members, including his mom and dad, were present at the dedication.

Leo Montoya was arrested for the 2015 murder and is now charged with first-degree murder.
