PUEBLO, Colo. - A man was on his way from Pueblo to the Colorado Springs airport with explosives when he was arrested. Multiple agencies were involved including the Pueblo Police Department.

The Pueblo Police received a tip that Luke Mullen, 34,  was believed to be having a psychological episode. According to a press release sent by the Pueblo Police, Mullen was paranoid about being watched and believed his house was bugged. 

Mullen was contacted at the Loves rest stop in Fountain by Colorado State Patrol where he was taken into custody. The Colorado Springs Bomb Squad found and neutralized four explosive devices.

Pueblo police report Mullen’s wife was interviewed and taken to a local hospital for an evaluation after officers observed the same paranoias exhibited by her husband.

Mullen is facing charges of Possession of an Incendiary Device, Reckless Endangerment, and Child Neglect.
