PUEBLO, Colo. - The Pueblo Police Department is hosting a series of drug awareness and prevention meetings.
The first two meetings were held for professionals on Wednesday.
This first meeting focused on setting clear organizational policies and drug prevention resources.
"My role as an educator is to get out there and teach the facts and evidence-based research. And with conversations with different adults, I have found that there is just a vast unawareness of what kids are being exposed to today," said Megan Blaser, Larimer County Extension.
Participants also learned about hands-on activities they can do to keep kids away from drugs.
