Pueblo, Colo. - The historic Pueblo County courthouse is playing host to a pep rally Friday afternoon prior to the city's annual Cannon football game.
Cheerleaders and players from Pueblo South and Pueblo East will on hand for the festivities. The rotunda has been draped with school pride decorations all week in preparation.
Organizers say the rally has become an annual tradition thanks to Pueblo County Assessor, Frank Beltran who began organizing the pep rallies and coordinating the decorations 11 years ago.
The pep rally gets underway at 3:30 p.m. Friday at the courthouse, which is located at 215 W. 10th Street.
The Cannon game starts at 7:00 p.m. at Dutch Clark Stadium. KRDO Newchannel 13 will be reporting live from the annual match-up starting at 4:00 p.m.
