Three killed in crash on I-25 north of Pueblo identified

PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo. - Three people died in a crash on I-25 north of Pueblo Thursday night.

The crash happened at around 10:35 p.m. on northbound I-25 five miles north of the city.

The Colorado State Patrol says a 2009 Ford F-150 pulling a U-Haul trailer was driving southbound in the northbound lanes when it collided head-on with a 1999 GMC Jimmy that was driving northbound.

The wrong-way driver was identified as Jackie Olmstead, 71, from Washington state. He died at the scene.

The GMC was driven by Michelle Massenburg, 51, from Colorado Springs. She and her passenger, Elijah Hagger, 9, of Colorado Springs were both pronounced dead at the scene.
