Rankings show STD rates by state

Valentine’s Day is just one day away and that means love is in the air. A new study by takes a look at how likely people are to get an STD on their special date.

According to the CDC the STD rate is at an all-time high.

Colorado ranked near the middle, at #27. The website found the state has an average of 81.9 cases of Gonorrhea rate per 100,000 people. It also has 445.4 cases of Chlamydia per 100,000 people.

Neighboring state New Mexico was near the top of the list at #5.

The company used CDC data on STDs, state and county health agency data, and social media surveys.
