Red Flag Warnings cover southern Colorado

SOUTHERN COLORADO, Colo. - The National Weather Service has issued Red Flag Warnings from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Use extreme caution today! Dry fuels, low relative humidity and gusty winds all contribute to high fire danger.

Gusts could reach the 30s in the lower elevations with the 50s and 60s possible in the high country. Any fires that start have the potential to grow and spread very rapidly.
