UPDATE: Fight outside Domino's Pizza ends in gunfire, police said

FOUNTAIN, Colo - An altercation led to gunfire late Wednesday night outside a Fountain Domino's Pizza, police said.

Officers received several calls about the shots just after 9 p.m. When they arrived, officers learned that several people had gotten into a fight in the parking lot of a strip mall in the 7700 block of Fountain Mesa Road.

Several shots were fired during the fight.

According to witnesses, one person was seen driving away from the scene in a white Mitsubishi sedan with a temporary registration. The witness attempted to follow the car but was shot at several times, investigators said.

One person was hurt during the fight but no one was hit by gunfire, police said.

Police do not have any suspects. The investigation continues.

Deputies say shots were fired near Domino's Pizza in Fountain overnight.

According to deputies a group of three juveniles were first noticed as they loitered inside the local 7-Eleven.

When the group left the 7-Eleven the Sheriffs department says surveillance video showed the juveniles followed by three men and two women.

Shots were heard after the two groups had passed out of the surveillance camera's view.  According to deputies, only one of the juveniles stayed on scene while deputies rushed to the area.
