Colorado Springs person wins 1 million lottery

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The winning ticket for the Powerball was sold in Massachusets Wednesday night, but there are some winners in Southern Colorado.

According to the Colorado Lottery Facebook page, a $1 million winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven on Briargate Pkwy. in Colorado Springs.


Many people we spoke with today were saddened that they weren't the ones chosen but wished the person who did win, good luck. 

A $200,000 winning ticket was sold at Loaf N Jug on Hwy. 96 East in Pueblo.

Also in Colorado, a $50,000 winning ticket was sold at 7-Eleven on S. Dayton in Englewood and a $50,000 ticket was sold at Main Street Gas in Aspen.

The winning numbers are 6-7-16-23-26 PB 4, Powerplay is X4
