Air Force hockey upsets St. Cloud State in NCAA tournament

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - Head coach Frank Serratore would prefer you don't call them "Cinderella" - but the Air Force hockey team became the second 16-seed to beat a 1-seed in the last month.

The Falcons upset number one overall seed St. Cloud State 4-1 in their first round game on Friday.

Tyler Ledford scored the first two goals for Air Force in the second period. Goal keeper Billy Christopoulos notched 39 saves in the game as well.

Air Force moves onto the second round where they'll face the winner of MSU-Mankato vs. Minnesota-Duluth.
