Springs Police: woman accidentally fires gun, hits neighbor's television

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Colorado Springs police said a woman accidentally fired a shot on Saturday night and hit a television that belongs to her downstairs neighbor.

It happened at an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Woodland Hills Drive.

Police said they were responding to a call about a gunshot fired. Oficers found a television that was hit and a bullet hole in the ceiling of the apartment.The woman who called police said that she heard the gunshot come from upstairs.

Police said they went upstairs and found that noone had been hurt.

Amy Walter, 25, told police that she had accidentally fired a handgun.

Police said Walter was arrested on several misdemeanor charges and was released.
