Adams County coroner releases names of 3 killed in Thornton Walmart shooting

THORNTON, Colo. - The Adams County Coroner released the names of the three people who were killed in Wednesday night's shooting in Thornton. 

Pamela Marques, 52, Carlos Moreno, 66, and Victor Vasquez, 26, were fatally shot at the Walmart off Grant Street in Thornton at around 6:30 p.m.

The two men were pronounced dead at the scene. Marques was rushed to the hospital and was pronounced dead a couple of hours later. 

Scott Ostrem, 47, the suspect in the investigation, was arrested on Thursday morning. 



He is a former employee with B&M Roofing in Frederick, Colo. The owner told our partners at Denver7 that Ostrem walked off the job early Wednesday morning.
