Mother, child killed in head-on crash in Colorado

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - An adult and a child are dead after a head-on crash in Colorado.

Police say the adult's 2005 Pontiac Vibe sedan crossed over the center turn lane and collided with a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck heading in the opposite direction on Sunday in Fort Collins.

Traci Salazar, 32, died at the scene. Her two children in the sedan were taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Traci's daughter, 7-year-old Alika Salazar, died at the hospital, and her other child was last reported with serious injuries. 

The 42-year-old driver of the truck suffered moderate injuries.
