Colorado woman convicted of voter fraud in 2016 primary election

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. - A Colorado woman was convicted of voter fraud in El Paso County court on Wednesday

Toni Newbill pleaded guilty to voting twice in the 2016 Primary Election. She attempted to cast a vote for a man by the name of Ralph Nanninga, who died in 2012, according to the spokesperson of El Paso County. 

The penalty for this crime includes probation, community service, a fine, and other court fees.  

The Clerk's Office stated that they have turned in 2,031 ballots to the District Attorney's Office for investigation.
