CPW offering veterans, military members free admission into State Parks

To honor veterans and active duty members of the military, Colorado Parks and Wildlife is going to offer free admission to any state park in Colorado on November 11. 

Any member of the military forces or veterans can enter one of the 41 state parks in Colorado at no cost. They can also bring along family or friends as long as they are in the same vehicle. 

Items required to take advantage of the free admission include: 

  • Military ID card
  • Applicable DD Form
  • Veterans Affairs health identification card
  • A current Colorado Driver’s License or state-issued identification card with the veteran seal printed on it
