Girl hit by car in Parker store dies, Denver7 reports

PARKER, Colo. - The young girl who was hit by a car as it crashed through a running store in Parker last month has died, Denver7 reports.

The family of Rylie Guentensberger apparently made a post on Facebook on Friday stating the following:

"Today is a day of tears... Today is a day of memories... Today is a day of celebrating a special life... Today, our sweet Rylie passed away...This last month has shown us just how many lives she's touched. She has made us all stronger, love more fully, and smile more often."

Guentensberger was the only person hit by the car. Seven others inside the RNK Running & Walking store were also injured.

Initial reports say that the driver of the vehicle that crashed into the store may have a medical condition.

Investigators said the crash initially appeared to be related to a medical condition.
