Mark Redwine back in Colorado

WHATCOM COUNTY, Wash. - Mark Redwine is back in Colorado after being arrested in Washington last month.

According to the Whatcom County jail records, Redwine was released early on Monday morning.

The La Plata County Sheriff’s Office then took Redwine and returned to Durango via chartered aircraft.

He was booked into the La Plata County system just before 5 p.m. that same day. 

Judge Jeffrey Wilson will advise Redwine of the charges he is facing at the La Plata County Courthouse in Durango on August 15 at 4 p.m.

The Sixth Judicial District Attorney’s Office will prosecute Redwine’s case.

Redwine was arrested in Washington at the end of July in connection with the murder of his son, Dylan. 

Dylan was last seen alive on November 18, 2012.  Some of his human remains were found not far from Mark Redwine's home in Bayfield in June of 2013.
