PUEBLO, Colo. - Some of our viewers have reached out to us to find out why a piñata of President Trump would be hanging in the El Pueblo Museum.
Several people have sent in a picture of it on display in the museum over the weekend.
KRDO NewsChannel 13 contacted the museum, and a spokesperson said that the facility was rented out by an outside party for what was called a "diversity" event.
The spokesperson added that museum officials were not told of any protests against the president and allowed the event to take place.
They apologized if anyone was offended and will be reevaluating their rental policy.
