In less than a week the 59th class of Air Force Academy cadets will graduate.
The commencement ceremony at Falcon Stadium in Colorado Springs draws people from across the country.
On Wednesday, the Academy released 500 tickets to the May 24th commencement ceremony to the public.
Last year, President Barack Obama was AFA’s commencement speaker.
This year's speaker will be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Joesph F. Dunford, Jr. -- Dunford is The first Marine Corps officer to serve in four different four-star positions.
The Air Force Thunderbirds will conclude the commencement ceremony with a traditional fly-over of Falcon Stadium.
Tickets can be obtained in-person at the Colorado Chamber & EDC office at 102 S. Tejon Street, Suite 403 in Colorado Springs between 9 a.m. and 5p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tickets can also be picked up at Tri-Lakes Chamber of Commerce office at 166 Second Street in Monument between 9 a.m. and 5p.m. Monday through Friday.
Tickets are required to attend.Graduation is set for the 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday May 24th. Stadium gates open at 7 a.m. and spectators can expect airport-like security.
