Southern Colorado wakes up to rain and snow Monday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - A fast moving weather system brought rain and snow to the Pikes Peak Region early Monday morning.

Roads region-wide are wet.

Drivers in Colorado Springs will encounter standing water and splash back on area roads and highways.

An inch or two of wet snow accumulated on the grass, trees, and rooftops in Teller County. The roads remained just wet.

StormTracker 13's Abby Acone says showers will clear out this morning and we may get some sunshine. Rain chances return this evening as a cold front blows in from the north.
