DENVER - The Denver Broncos officially have a new quarterback as of Wednesday.
The team signed Case Keenum to a two-year deal.
"He's a great fit for us and is coming off a tremendous season. Excited to add Case's leadership, competitiveness, and experience," said John Elway.
Keenum, 30, compiled an 11-3 record after replacing an injured Sam Bradford and helped Minnesota to the NFC Championship game last season.
He passed for 3,547 yards and 22 touchdowns, both easily career highs, for the Vikings while the Broncos struggled to a 5-11 record behind a trio of struggling quarterbacks in Trevor Siemian, Brock Osweiler, and Paxton Lynch.
